What's a Brigade Captain?

The Code for America Brigade program is an international network of people committed to using their voices and hands, in collaboration with local governments, to make their cities better. Captains across the world are leading these Brigades of volunteer technologists and civic innovators, partnering with government in an effort to enhance their communities. Brigades hold regular hack nights, manage events, advocate for open data, and deploy apps.
